X Factor Finalists
Hero
It's normally only the winner of The X Factor who gets to release a single but this year, the finalists have come together to record a track.
'Hero' was originally No. 7 hit for Mariah Carey in 1993, the song has now been chosen as a charity single which has been recorded by the final twelve finalists in this year's X Factor.
The song, which is tipped to be the fastest selling single of 2008, was recorded in support of the charity Help For Heroes, who provide support for British service men and women who've been wounded in service.
Simon Cowell has predicted that the single will go straight to No. 1 this weekend, on Saturday night's show Simon said "these are decent people who need a bit of help, a bit of support and all the proceeds of this record will go to these guys."

I absolutely love this song! it is the best i want JLS and Alex in the top 2 of the finals it is hard to choose, but im edging towards JLS as this year's X Factors winners, because i really would like a group to win this year, because they are a fantastic group, with amazing chemistry between them, they can sing, dance, the look good together. they have the whole packege. Alexandra is amaxzing, yes, but she doesn't need to win in order to be successful.

Austin should still be in! I wanted him to win.. he was the best singer in the competition by far! Austin = Sexy. I didn't really care who went this week because now I'm backing Alexandra to win. Diana shouldn't be allowed to carry on in the competition because if Daniel for example got a throat infection the week of the semi-final and was given a guaranteed place in the final then people would be complaining. He should have gone ages ago, cos he's ruining better peoples chances of a singer career.

this song is so insperational it a song that you can lisern to when your feeling down and sad about something it picks you back on your feet and makes you strong. I think everyone left in are amazing singers i think Dianna is my favorite but they are all good in there own way, Dianna is the most talented i think and has a future she should win. I think that the Hero song is absloutely amazing. I don't really like the original Mariah Carey song but now I LOVE IT! Diana and Alexandra sing the best on the song. Hi, I think Diana sings the best in this song, but they deffinatley haven't given her enough to sing! She only got to sing 2 lines, very short ones at that, and Laura and Alexandra were hogging the whole song! They aren't that great!
