Miss Independent
We first heard of Ne-Yo in 2006 when he released his debut album 'In My Own Words'.
Since then he has had hits with 'So Sick', 'Sexy Love', 'Because of You', 'Miss Independent', a No. 1 hit with 'Closer' and released his third album, ' Year of the Gentleman ' in August this year.
Ne-yo has was nominated for a couple of awards at this year's MOBOs , Best R'n'B/Soul Act and Best International Act but lost out to Chirs Brown on both at the event which took place at Wembley Arena earlier this month.
