Jordin Sparks is all the way from Pheonix, Arizona. She's the youngest winner of American Idol ever.
Jordin featured in the US reality TV show last January, when she sang Celine Dion's 'Because You Loved Me' at the Seattle auditions. The judges were overall impressed with her vocals, though Simon Cowell criticized her for being "too cute".
Despite Simon's back-handed compliment Jordin earned a "gold ticket" and went on to the Hollywood finals where, off course she won. No surprise for judge Randy Jackson who made the prediction that "curly hair will win this year" referring to Jordin.
Jordin was never in danger of elimination during the show, this makes her the fourth contestant to have won without ever being in the bottom two or three, joining the likes of Kelly Clarkson.
Jordin recorded her first five-song album, 'For Now' at the age of 13. Her self-titles follow up album is already doing huge thing in the states after being released towards the end of last year.
Jordin's first single, 'Tattoo' was released in the US in August and was a No. 10 hit, it didn't do so well here when it was released in March. But now, with the success of 'No Air', her huge hit with Chris Brown, under her belt, it's being re-released and we're sure this time it will be huge.
