'The Promise' has been called "a 60s-influenced pop gem given a contemporary Girls Aloud twist." ...we just think it sounds a bit like the theme to 80s game show, Blankety Blank .

this is such a good song i love 60s music and i love girls aouds music to but now they have put it together and it gos really well and i hope this gets to the top ten hits its only just come out and its allredy 40 and alot of songs cant even make it to 40 so girls aloud are doing really well with this song give it some time and this song will make it to the top ten because alot of people love 60s music and this song aint even from the 60s but it seems like it is by the music and words of what they sing and this song will go top ten look at suga babes girls sorry but that song was from the 60s but now they have made it in to a song that aint from the 60s so i dont no how it got top ten but the promise is much better and will be come top ten i lvoe girls aloud :D
