Chasing Pavements
Adele is 19, from London, and probably the most hyped British act of 2008. If you're looking for someone to replace Amy while she makes a new album, then Adele wouldn't be a bad choice. They went to the same school and they share a love of old school soul.
Now while we might like Adele's voice, we're not really that keen on this song. In fact we preferred it a lot more when we thought it was called 'Chasing Payments'. However when we played it last week, lots of you seemed to love it, so this will probably be her breakthrough single. Plus, the video is ace.
