Lucio Loves... Carrie Underwood
Ever since we've known Lucio he's been banging out about how amazing a girl called Carrie Underwood is and how his favourite song ever, ever is her single 'Before He Cheats' . We knew she won American Idol a few years ago thanks to nearly every contestant doing a version of her song 'Jesus Takes The Wheel' but we've actually never bothered to listen to her ... until today! And now? Well now we kind of see what Lucio means and might let him get his way.

Well im not ashamed to say i am a 'Carrie' freak! i think i probably know all there is to know about here and i have been a huge fan since her first audition on american idol!!! If she came over here to tour would be fantastic!! She already has the coverage over here from appearing on American Idol at various points since winning! SHE IS FANTASTIC!!! I've been a fan of Carrie since her Some Hearts album came out. It's such a shame that she hasn't had any major exposure over here, she has the best voice of all the female singers out today and she's also a great songwriter. If people like Carrie were promoted in the UK people would see that Country isn't at all like the stereotypical view of singing about dead dogs and crying in your beer, and it doesn't just appeal to people in the USA, everyone can relate to it.

I was so suprised when I got back home to find no one had heard of Carrie Underwood! Great song Lucio, but it has already been released! You can download the song off iTunes and buy the album in HMV. They made very little attempt to promote it so none of the songs charted, but it seems slightly odd for a radio show to be campaigning for a record company to release a song that is already available. If you want it to make the chart you should be talking to the big boys upstairs to playlist it. Nothing's stopping them from doing that! What's Simon Cowell got to do with it?
